Afriquan Film is a podcast series in which we shall explore our continent’s cinematic landscape through film recommendations, as well as conversations with pertinent practitioners working within this creative industry.
Our Season 3 premiere finds us talking with Alta Global Media's Steven Adams. Within this episode we find out a bit about his journey into the film industry and into Talent Management. The conversation explores what Talent Management and re is as well as Steven Adams' incredibly prolific journey within various sectors of the Film Industry from VFX productions and film festivals all the way to his work with Alta Global Media and growing more relations between African Americans and the African continent.

Our guest is Neil Brandt, a filmmaker who’s filmography is both extensive and diverse in format. Some recent highlights including Netflix’s chart-topping true-crime series, Senzo: The Murder of A Soccer Star, the supernatural anthology series: Emoyeni as well as a bevy of critically acclaimed documentaries that have competed and gained recognition at key festivals like Sundance & Hot Docs… He also sits on the board of The Durban Filmmart, and has served on the boards of SASFED, IPO and DFA. Brandt has also been a juror at the International Emmys, the SAFTA's and is a founding member of Moon Valley Studio.
